What are the selection criteria for electronic valves in cold storage systems

The selection of all components in the cold storage refrigeration system must strictly comply with the four basic principles of safety, reliability, applicability and economy. Of course, solenoid valves are no exception. In addition, the solenoid valve must be further selected according to the on-site working conditions of the system. Generally judged from the following six aspects.

   1. Choose the solenoid valve specifications and interface methods according to parameters such as the diameter of the refrigeration system pipes.

  1. Judge the specific size of the solenoid valve diameter according to the internal strength and flow rate of the pipe used in the refrigeration system;

  2. Same as above, choose the specific interface method according to the specific situation: Under normal circumstances, if the interface diameter of the solenoid valve is greater than 50, choose the flange interface, and when it is less than or equal to 50mm, you can freely choose according to the specific situation;

  Second, the selection of solenoid valve material and temperature is generally determined according to fluid parameters

  1. Corrosive fluid: Generally, the more scientific approach to this fluid is that the solenoid valve needs a corrosive solenoid valve. Generally choose the solenoid valve made of stainless steel;

  2. Fluid with higher temperature: The main consideration is that the solenoid valve needs to use high temperature resistant materials. In addition, it is necessary to choose the piston type structure type;

  3. The fluid state requirements for the selection of solenoid valves: general fluids are roughly in gas, liquid or gas-liquid mixed state, especially when the diameter is greater than 25mm, you must pay attention to the distinction;

   4. Different fluid viscosity requirements for solenoid valves: If the fluid viscosity is higher than a certain range, you should choose a high-viscosity solenoid valve.

   Three. When choosing the principle and structure of the solenoid valve, the decision must be made according to the pressure parameters of the system

  1. Choose according to the nominal pressure of the pipeline: the parameter of nominal pressure is the same as other valves, mainly according to the pressure of the refrigeration pipeline;

  2. Working pressure: Choose different solenoid valves according to the working pressure of the refrigeration system. When the pressure of the refrigeration system is relatively low, the solenoid valve with direct-acting or step-by-step direct-acting working principle is generally used.

  Four. Judge the selection method of solenoid valve according to the working time of the refrigeration system

   1. If the refrigeration system is working for a long time, the simple understanding is that the working time is greater than the closed time, then the normally open solenoid valve is generally selected;

  2. If the refrigeration system is opened for a short time, the normally closed type should be selected;

  3. For some special conditions, choose the long-term power-on type.

   5. Choose the type of solenoid valve according to the specific working environment of the freezer refrigeration system

   1. If it is some special environment such as explosive environment, you should choose the solenoid valve with explosion-proof grade;

  2. If there may be backflow in the refrigeration system, a solenoid valve with a non-return function should be required;

  3. If the solenoid valve needs manual control, select the solenoid valve with manual function;

  4. If you need to work in an environment with high moisture content, you must have a waterproof level.
