How to determine the oil content of air compressor exhaust

The air compressor should indicate the exhaust oil content in the rated exhaust state on the nameplate or user manual.

The exhaust oil content of different types of air compressors is very different. According to the information, the oil content of exhaust gas of domestic piston type oil-lubricated air compressor is 65~220g/m3, the oil content of exhaust gas of oil-less lubricated air compressor is 30~40g/m3, domestic oil-free air compressor (Actually it is semi-oil-free lubrication) The oil content of the exhaust is 6-15g/m3 and so on. Air compressors that have been used for a long time or are improperly maintained due to the failure of the internal oil and gas separator will greatly increase the oil content of the exhaust.

Turbine-type air compressors and sliding vane type air compressors do not have any substantial contact with lubricating oil during the production of compressed air, so the exhaust gas does not contain oil. Because the exhaust oil of air compressors contains low-quality waste oil, sometimes even mixed with solid impurities such as tar and carbon particles, they are not only the main pollution source of compressed air, but also bring great threats to the gas safety of users.
