Bell mouth connection method of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
The connection requirements of the bell mouth of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment are very high. From the perspective of maintenance of fluorine deficiency and leakage, the problem of the bell mouth connection is the most. Ordinary blue-type failures: insufficient connection tightness, refrigerant leakage; too tight connection, squeezing of the bell mouth, and refrigerant leakage; connection threads are not properly aligned, biting the wire, resulting in damage to the bell nut and the joint thread Wait.
1. Bell mouth bending requirements
The air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment has four bell mouth connectors. Before connecting, the shape of the copper pipe of the bell mouth section of the pipe must be bent to prevent the bell mouth and the connector from being affected by twisting external forces. It is necessary to make sure that the bent copper tube and the bell mouth can be directly aligned with the connector by holding it with a little force. Generally, a certain length of straight pipe should be left. As shown in the figure below, the root of the bell mouth cannot be bent, otherwise it will It will not be in place, resulting in failure to screw the nut of the bell mouth, or twisting force after tightening, and damage the bell mouth.
2. How to bend the bell mouth
Due to the difference in the work site, the size of the air conditioner and the installation procedures, the most difficult to bend is the inner air pipe (thick pipe) of the cabinet machine above 3P. Considering this point, some manufacturers have specially equipped a section of threaded pipe that is easy to bend to facilitate operation. Sometimes due to space constraints, the pipe bending tool cannot be used to perform the pipe change operation, and it can only be performed manually, and manual operation is easy to bend or fold, causing the pipeline to throttle or block. The pipe bending generally adopts the two-hands holding method, as shown in the following figure, because some cabinets have low connectors or the pipe cannot be pulled out, you can also use both hands to move in and bend.
3. How to connect the bell mouth
Before connecting the bell mouth, align the bell mouth and the connector first to see if they are aligned properly. Then, lightly press the bell mouth on the connector with one hand to ensure that the connection is tight, use the other hand to screw the nut onto the connector, after screwing it to the end, gently shake the bell mouth from left to right, and tighten the bell nut until it is tightened. Don’t move. It is strictly forbidden to use a wrench instead of hand-tightening operation to prevent the nut and the connector screw from being damaged due to the misplacement of the screw, because the misplaced bell mouth cannot be screwed by hand.
