Because the scroll compressor is started under unloading conditions, even under unbalanced pressure, it is started under unloading conditions, so there is no minimum stop time. The most critical consideration is the minimum operating time required to return oil to the compressor after startup. The simplest measurement method is to use a prototype with a glass sight glass (provided by Emerson), and connect the longest connecting tube allowed by the system. The shortest running time is the time it takes for the compressor to return to the compressor oil sump to restore the normal oil level in the sight glass when the compressor starts to lose oil. If the compressor is cycled at a time interval shorter than this time, for example, to protect very precise temperature control, it may cause a gradual loss of lubricating oil and damage the compressor.
