Precautions before and after installation of the chiller

Before moving the industrial chiller, confirm that the installation site is equipped with equipment and tools suitable for the installation of the industrial chiller, and can bear the weight of the industrial chiller and all accessories. It is allowed to use forklifts to transport industrial chillers, but it is better to use steel cables for lifting. During the transportation and installation process, the industrial chiller should be avoided from strong vibration and impact, so as to avoid damage to the industrial chiller and copper pipe leakage.

   Chiller installation site requirements:

The chiller should be installed indoors, and it is not allowed to install in the open field or the place where it may be rained. When the ambient temperature of the storage place in winter is lower than 4℃, the water in the condenser and evaporator should be cleaned to prevent frost heave damage . The industrial chiller should be installed in a solid and flat place. Please make a foundation according to the instructions, and put a layer of 12-20mm shock-absorbing rubber pad between the underframe of the chiller and the foundation. The underframe of the industrial refrigeration unit is equipped with anchor bolts. Use M16 or M20 anchor bolts to fix the bottom frame of the industrial refrigeration unit to the foundation, and level the chiller frame in the front, back, and left and right directions. There should be a certain space around the industrial chiller for operation, inspection and maintenance. Installation clearance: the minimum length of front and rear is 1500mm; the minimum length of left and right is 2000mm, it is better to leave more space in the length of the condenser for cleaning the copper pipe of the condenser; the minimum height is the height of the industrial refrigeration unit +2000mm to facilitate the removal of the compressor And installation.

  Water pipe connection:

This water-cooled industrial refrigeration unit needs the assistance of two independent water circulation systems to work, one is a chilled water circulation system, and the other is a cooling water circulation system. When connecting water pipes, customers can only use water pipes equal to or larger than the diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes, and the pipe diameter cannot be reduced. Customers should install shock-proof flexible joints and gate valves at the entrance and exit of the freezing water pipe and the entrance and exit of the cooling water pipe to reduce vibration transmission. An expansion tank is installed at the height of the chilled water pipeline to supplement the water leakage of the chilled water system. Water piping, frozen water transfer pumps, etc. should be wrapped with thermal insulation materials to avoid loss of cooling capacity. The cooling water piping system must be equipped with auxiliary equipment such as filters, water flow switches and water pressure gauges, and the chilled water piping systems must be equipped with water flow switches, water pressure gauges, thermometers, differential pressure bypass valves, expansion tanks and other auxiliary equipment.

   Power connection:

Customers should have wall power distribution equipment (such as air switch, insurance, computer room lighting, etc.) exclusively for chilled water industrial chilled water units. The power supply of this series of screw chiller industrial chillers: 380V-3HP-50HZ. The requirements for power supply voltage stability and phase-to-phase voltage balance: the phase-to-phase voltage unbalance shall not exceed 2% of the average phase-to-phase voltage. The capacity of the customer's power supply system should be large enough. When the capacity of the power supply system is insufficient, the voltage of the chilled water industrial refrigeration unit will drop sharply when starting, so that the industrial refrigeration unit cannot be started, and the motor will be damaged in severe cases. When this series of cold water industrial refrigeration units are in operation, the allowable voltage fluctuation does not exceed 5% of the rated voltage. The control box of the cold water industrial chillers is equipped with a power inlet hole, and three live wires, one neutral wire and A ground wire enters the electric control box through this hole. In the control box, there are wiring terminals for the interlocking of the cooling water pump and the chilled water pump to ensure that the cooling water pump and the chilled water pump are started first, and then the compressor. This chilled water industrial refrigeration unit is a larger refrigeration equipment. When configuring the power supply line, choose a wire with a slightly larger cross-section, and its surplus is not less than 20% of the normal capacity, and it is connected to install reliable electronic control components. Since the industrial refrigeration unit is equipped with reverse phase and phase loss protection, please pay attention to whether the phase of the line is correct during wiring installation. When the phase is connected incorrectly or phase loss, the industrial chiller cannot operate normally.

   Other matters needing attention:

The pressure of the cooling water pump must flow to the condenser, because the water resistance of the condenser is large, the cooling water is forced into the condenser by the pressure of the cooling water pump, otherwise, the cooling water will not flow into the condenser, and the condenser will have insufficient water flow. This leads to an increase in the high pressure of the refrigeration system, and in severe cases, it will cause the cold water industrial chiller to alarm and shut down. When installing cooling towers and water pumps, please refer to the water flow, water resistance and other data requirements indicated in the product manual. Excessive or too small water flow will affect the refrigeration system and reduce the cooling effect of industrial chillers. The chilled water and cooling water system must be interlocked with the industrial chiller. Terminals have been reserved for this series of industrial chillers. Please refer to the industrial chiller manual for connection.
