Industrial chillers are used in plastics, electronics, chemicals, electroplating, food preservation, textiles, printing, medicine, construction, machinery supporting equipment and other industries. Some industries need chillers to run 24 hours a day, while some industries only need to run a few Hours, therefore, the wear of the unit varies. In addition, another reason for the failure of the unit may be the power supply voltage. When the phase voltage imbalance of the chiller is greater than 2%, the startup operation will damage the chiller.
1. The working power supply of the industrial chiller is 3-phase, 380V, 50Hz. Before running the chiller, you need to check whether the power supply and control parts in the electric control cabinet are abnormal, and tighten the wiring terminals, including the main power wiring copper bar, automatic air circuit breaker (air switch), compressor starting electrical device, PLC Touch screen, target flow switch, chilled water pump, cooling water pump linkage control line (control contact is passive contact), temperature sensor, freezing, cooling water pump, cooling tower linkage control line (control contact is passive contact), electronic control instrument, etc. node. After confirming OK, the startup operation can be performed to ensure the normal operation of the chiller.
2. Check the power supply voltage of the industrial chiller: z*Maximum allowable phase voltage unbalance is 2%, and phase current unbalance is 10%. The phase voltage unbalance is greater than 2%, and it must not be turned on.
For example: the standard voltage of industrial chillers is 3-phase, 380V, 50Hz, and the measured UAB=376V, UAC=379V, UBC=385V. Get the average voltage=(376+379+385)/3=380V: Determine the deviation from the average voltage: △UAB=380-376=4V, △UAC=380-379=1V, △UBC=385-380= 5V, the maximum deviation of z* is 5V, 5/380=1.3%, and the z* large phase voltage unbalance is 1.3%.
It is measured that the power supply voltage is within the normal range, so it can be started normally. Electricity is an indispensable part of our lives. It can bring us light, but it may also bring us misfortune. Therefore, we must pay special attention to the power supply voltage of any object and take precautions. Especially for high-power chillers, if the unit is damaged due to power supply voltage problems, then a relatively large amount of maintenance costs are waiting.
In addition, when the industrial chiller fails, if the company does not have a professional electrician or chiller operator, it is recommended to contact the relevant person in charge of the chiller manufacturer to deal with it, so as to avoid more losses.
