In winter, when using air-conditioning for heating, the effect is either reduced or there is no hot air. I always feel that the heating effect is very poor! Many air conditioners are surrounded by snow. Can they be effective?
1. What is the main principle of air conditioning heating?
is mainly to absorb the heat in the air through the outdoor unit, and take the absorbed heat to the indoor unit through the refrigerant cycle in the pipeline. The work of the indoor unit provides heat to the room to increase the indoor temperature.
2. Why the colder the weather, the worse the heating effect?
is mainly because the colder the weather, the lower the outdoor environment temperature, it is more difficult for the air-conditioning heating to absorb the air heat from the outdoor air environment, resulting in relatively poor heating effect. This is the normal attenuation value in winter.
3. During the heating process, why does the indoor unit stop air supply for a period of time, and then automatically turn on after a few minutes?
This is the air conditioner is defrosting, the indoor unit will stop working during the defrosting process, and will continue to work after the defrosting process.
When heating in winter, since the evaporation temperature of the outdoor unit heat exchanger (ie condenser) is lower than 0°C, the outdoor air flowing through the condenser will condense on the fins and form frost. The frost will affect the condenser exchange. The heating area and the circulation of air affect the heating effect of the air conditioner.
Using air conditioners in winter, the following conditions are normal:
1. Due to the continuous low temperature, frequent defrosting occurs when the outdoor temperature is lower than 0℃. Generally, the air conditioner defrosts every 45-50 minutes, and the defrosting time is about 5-15 minutes each time. The defrosting is more frequent in rainy and snowy weather. The relative humidity in the air is too high, which is normal;
2.When heating and defrosting, there will be water dripping at the bottom of the outer unit of the air conditioner. In this case, frost will form on the outer unit pipeline and condenser fins when the air conditioner is heating. The air conditioner will automatically defrost after a certain period of time. When defrosting, the outdoor opportunity to smoke is normal defrosting (this smoke is not another smoke, do not call the police), do not worry, this water is not leaking, it is air conditioning defrosting water, which is a normal phenomenon;
3. There is no hot air when the air conditioner is just turned on. (Don’t call the air conditioner broken as soon as there is no hot air.) This is because the air conditioner has added the "anti-cold wind protection" function during heating. The indoor unit tube temperature reaches a certain temperature before the indoor unit fan motor starts to run.
4. In winter heating mode, the air deflector of the internal unit of the air conditioner should be adjusted to the downward direction, so that the hot air blows down from the air outlet, the heating effect of the room is faster (otherwise the hot air floats on the upper part of the house, and the height is less than 2m Can't feel); hot air is light, cold air is heavy. If the hot air cannot fall, it is difficult to feel the heat in the room, and the temperature felt by the human body is low, which directly feels that the heating effect of the air conditioner is poor.
5. In the heating mode, try to turn on the medium and low wind speed. The first time you use the electric auxiliary heating, you will smell a burnt smell. Please don't panic. 6. After the cabinet type air conditioner has been used for a period of time, the home power supply trip occurs. In this case, check whether the size of the air conditioner matches the size of the main power switch.
