The role of the filter in the air compressor system is to remove liquid water, dust, oil, dust and other impurities in the compressed air.

  The selection method of compressed air filter:

   1. Select the type of filter. According to the different filtering objects, choose different types of filters. For example, in the filter at the front of the dryer, the primary filter must be selected to filter the liquid water, oil and impurities in the compressed air; the filter installed at the rear of the dryer should be selected with a high-precision filter to filter the compressed air Of dust.

  2. According to the air flow QV to be processed (converted to the standard state), select the corresponding filter. The selected filter rated flow QO and actual processing flow Qr should have the following relationship: Qr≤QO. Technical parameters of the compressed air filter: When determining the compressed air filter, the general approach is to identify a reliable supplier, and then list the required performance, allowing the manufacturer to choose the ordering method (filter size, surface area, structure, design Wait).

   Various organizational parameters that should be determined by the user are:

   1. Operating conditions-pipe pressure, flow, pipe size and temperature.

  2. The maximum pressure drop-the original pressure drop that is too high is allowed, and the energy usage rate will be replaced. If the pressure drop is too low, it will lead to the use of unnecessary and excessive filters. For example, a filter with a pressure drop of 0.1 psig will be 10 times larger than a filter with a pressure drop of 1 psig. In the range of the original pressure drop of 0.5 to 1.5/inch2, the best balance can usually be obtained between operating costs and investment costs.

  3. Decontamination efficiency-Although filtration efficiency is the most important performance, unfortunately, it is the most difficult to precisely specify this performance. The difficulty is that the particle size cannot be used to accurately grade the high-efficiency air filter. From the technical requirements, it is reasonable to stipulate the blocking efficiency of particles with a diameter in the range of 0.3μ~0.6μ.
