What to do if the air conditioner drips Why not try this trick

Every household basically has air conditioners, but dripping of air conditioners is really a big problem. Many people don't understand why the air conditioners are dripping. In fact, it is normal for the air conditioner to drip. Of course, there are also abnormal drips. So, what if the air conditioner drips? Let us take a closer look.

The reason for the air conditioner dripping:

  1. The indoor unit is not firmly installed, causing displacement. The fixed hanging plate of the indoor unit is not firmly installed and fixed, and it shifts after a long time, resulting in a higher position on the side of the drain pipe

  2. Dew condensation on the piping. Because the quality of the insulation material on the pipeline is too poor or too thin, or not completely wrapped, when the refrigerant in the pipeline passes through, it causes condensation.

   3. The drain pipe is blocked. The drain pipe leading out of the room was blocked artificially or the drain port was blocked by stolen goods, causing the condensation water to be unable to drain.

  4. The heat exchanger drips. When we found that the water of the air conditioner was dripping from the heat exchanger, that is, the blades of the indoor unit. Usually the heat exchanger is too dirty. You can rinse it with a commercially available cleaning agent, gently brush it with a wool brush, or use a high-power hair dryer to blow away the dust.

   5. The newly installed air conditioner and the extended drain pipe are leaking. After the air conditioner is installed, the test machine is normal, but the water leaks after a few days: this phenomenon is generally that the air conditioner drain pipe is not evenly inclined during installation, and the rear end of the drain pipe is higher than the front, so that the drain There is a water pocket in the middle of the tube.

  6. The air conditioner lacks fluoride and leaks. The lack of fluorine in the air conditioner will cause the evaporator to freeze, and the temperature of the air outlet will be low and condensation will form water leakage. After the air conditioner lacks fluorine, the air conditioner runs for a long time. Because the refrigerant flow is not enough, the evaporation temperature rises, and the refrigerant cannot dissipate the heat of the compressor and cause the overheating protection shutdown. The icing caused by the indoor unit evaporator in the air conditioner will produce a large amount of condensed water and leak water when frosting

The solution to air conditioner dripping:

   1. If the indoor unit is offset, then correct the air conditioner position. You can recalibrate the position of the air conditioner with a liquid level gauge, or lower the end of the condensate pipe sweeping port of the air conditioner as much as possible.

  2. There are many ways to solve the clogging of the drain pipe. If the drain pipe is aging, it must be replaced with a new one; if some items block the drain pipe, use a high-pressure water gun or tool to flush the drain pipe until it is cleared.

   3. The most common reason for air conditioning dripping water is dew condensation on the piping, so its solution should attract everyone's attention. At this time, we should disassemble the tape to check whether the insulation material is aging or installed properly, whether the package has gaps and thinness, etc., and we can find solutions to these problems.

  4. If you encounter a problem with the air conditioner itself, you should check the air conditioner device. If you cannot solve it by yourself, you can find the relevant air conditioner repair shop to deal with it, and this method is also an effective method.

A general air conditioner dripping is normal. If there is a problem with the drain pipe, or the indoor unit of the air conditioner is tilted, the end connecting the drain pipe is too high and the other end will cause the air conditioner to drip. Fortunately, with the above four air-conditioning dripping solutions, I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
