What is the difference between a central air conditioning system and a clean air conditioning system

The central air conditioning system is mainly composed of refrigerators, cooling water circulation systems, chilled water circulation systems, fan coil systems and cooling towers. Essentially, the purification air conditioning system is also composed of three parts: air handling equipment, air conveying equipment, and air distribution equipment. There are also refrigeration systems, heating systems and automatic adjustment systems. Many people are not clear about the distinction between central air-conditioning system and purifying air-conditioning system. Let's talk about the difference between them.

1. In terms of air filtration: the general central air-conditioning system adopts one-stage coarse-efficiency filter, and at most two-stage filtration, and the filter is not located at the end of the tuyere, and there is no air filter above sub-high efficiency; and the purification air-conditioning system must be installed For air filtration above level three, a sub-high efficiency or high efficiency air filter must be installed at the end of the tuyere. Therefore, the indoor dust concentration of the two systems is at least tens of times different.

2. Airflow organization: Generally, the central air-conditioning system is in the form of turbulent airflow, and the purpose of improving the uniformity of the indoor temperature and humidity field is achieved with less ventilation; while the purification air-conditioning system is to limit and reduce the diffusion of dust particles as much as possible, and reduce the secondary Air flow and vortex flow, as for the unidirectional flow (ie: vertical laminar flow or horizontal laminar flow), the air flow form is not available in general central air conditioning systems.

3. Indoor pressure control: The clean room (area) of the purification air-conditioning system requires positive pressure or relative negative pressure in the room, and the minimum pressure difference is above 5-10Pa, which requires a certain amount of supplementary fresh air or a certain amount of exhaust air; However, the general central air-conditioning system has no clear requirements for indoor positive pressure.

4. In terms of air volume and energy consumption: the general central air-conditioning system only has 10 times/h or more air changes, while the purification air-conditioning system needs to be more than 12 times/h, even more than ten times the air changes of the general central air-conditioning system. Therefore, The energy consumption per square meter of the purification air-conditioning system is 10-20 times more than that of the general central air-conditioning system.

   5. In terms of fraud: the investment cost of the purification air conditioning system is much higher than that of the general central air conditioning system.

To sum up, the difference between central air conditioning system and clean air conditioning system is still very big, so we must choose our own suitable air conditioning system when purchasing.
