The air compressor lubricant is not up to standard
Air compressor lubricating oil is of great significance to the normal operation of screw air compressors, and it has a great impact on the reliability, economy and service life of the air compressor. During the operation of the air compressor, the temperature of the lubricating oil has certain requirements, which cannot be too high or too low. Too high or too low oil temperature will affect the normal operation of the air compressor.
The oil temperature is too high: When the lubricating oil temperature is higher than 90℃, the oil is easy to oxidize, the viscosity is reduced or deteriorated, and the lubrication effect is not good, which shortens the life of the equipment. On the contrary, there are many factors that cause the oil temperature to be too high, and it mainly occurs in summer. The main factors are: high temperature, high outlet pressure, clogged filter element, clogged oil cooler, and high temperature of circulating cooling water.
Excessive oil temperature control method: Open the skylights, doors and windows of the air compressor station to ventilate them; in high temperature weather, water can be used to wash the ground. Keep the air compressor filter and oil cooler unblocked. Check the performance and effect of the filter and cooler regularly. If blockage or damage is found, it should be cleaned or replaced in time. Use good quality lubricants and avoid mixed use.
The oil temperature is too low: when the oil temperature of the air compressor lubricating oil is lower than 40℃, the oil viscosity is too high, mechanical friction is hindered, and a large amount of carbon deposits are easily generated. There are not many factors that cause the lubricating oil temperature to be too low, most of which occur in winter, mainly because the temperature is too low or the viscosity of the air compressor lubricating oil itself is too high, the number of opened equipment is small, and the outlet pressure is low, so that the air compressor is lubricated. The oil is not fully utilized.
Low oil temperature control method: Strengthen the air compressor station's sealing and heating insulation, control the circulating water flow rate to 1/3 of the original, so that the cooling effect of the oil cooler is reduced and the oil temperature is increased. Maintain the continuous operation of the air compressor and increase the oil temperature naturally through mechanical friction.
