Petrochemical compressor development

  First, since the 1970s, centrifugal compressors have developed rapidly. In the development of a domestically produced 300,000-ton synthetic ammonia plant in a chemical complex, some plants in Shanghai have developed process air compressors, synthesis gas compressors, ammonia refrigeration compressors, and supporting drive steam turbines. At the same time, my country's largest centrifugal compressor manufacturing plant and industrial steam turbine manufacturing plant have also introduced high-tech technologies and systems, to a certain extent, pushing centrifugal compressor manufacturing to a new stage of development. On the other hand, the research institutes in my country have also advanced the research progress, and the research effect on the ternary flow theory and gas experiment is remarkable. The calculation form and process of the ternary flow impeller, and the gas simulation method have moved towards an international trend.

  Secondly, in the 1970s and 1980s, centrifugal compressors were improved both in science and technology as well as in process technology and quality. Since the construction of 200,000 tons of synthetic ammonia in the Sichuan Chemical Plant in 1987, some Chinese manufacturers have participated in the compressor manufacturing project. At this stage, about 30 petrochemical plants in China have used this type of compressor.

   Third, ethylene industrial compressors include: cracked gas compressors, ethylene and propylene compressors. In the mid-1970s, the chemical system first developed a 40,000-ton ethylene compressor. Subsequently, 120,000 tons of ethylene three machines were developed to provide 480,000 tons of ethylene cracking gas compressors and propylene compressors for Daqing Petrochemical. At this stage, a factory in my country has six 450,000-600,000-ton ethylene three-machine applications.
