How to choose the dryer according to the air compressor

Compressed air is the most important source of power in various production industries today, and the compressed air system of air compressors is very important for manufacturers. The correct use of the purification equipment dryer and filter in the compressed air system can increase the service life of the pneumatic control system, reduce the failure and failure of the control system, and is of great significance to improving work efficiency and economic benefits.

  How to choose the dryer according to the air compressor? Mainly from the following two aspects:

   (1) Type of air compressor: If oil-lubricated compressor is used and its oil content index is >15mg/m3, it should be equipped with high-efficiency precision filter and select external heating type micro-heat regeneration dryer.

   (2) Air compressor exhaust temperature and exhaust pressure: The drying device and supporting equipment can be selected according to the exhaust temperature and exhaust pressure of the air compressor.

   When the exhaust gas temperature is higher than 35℃, it should be considered to install a post cooler in front of the dryer and degreasing filter to reduce the gas temperature to below 35℃. When the exhaust pressure is lower than 0.5MPa, it is not suitable to use non-heat regeneration and micro-heat regeneration dryers, and a large filling volume, deep adsorption external heating, waste heat, internal heat regeneration drying device should be used. When the exhaust pressure is lower than 0.2MPa, the refrigerated dryer should undergo secondary treatment with a thermal regeneration drying device to obtain a better drying effect below -40°C.
