Different types of condensers have different layout requirements

There are several types of condensers: vertical, horizontal, spraying and evaporating, which should be arranged according to different types of cold storage. The installation height of the condenser must ensure that its liquid flows into the liquid reservoir under self-flow conditions. A pressure gauge and safety valve should be installed on the condenser. Different types of condensers have different layout requirements. The specific requirements are as follows.

   1. The vertical condenser should be installed outdoors, close to the entrance and exit of the machine room. The pool at the bottom can be used as the foundation, and the installation height must be such that the ammonia can flow into the ammonia reservoir by gravity.

  2. The horizontal shell-and-tube condenser is generally installed in the indoor equipment room. During the installation and arrangement of the cold storage, the height must ensure that the liquid can automatically flow into the reservoir, and there should be room for cleaning and pipe replacement. When two condensers are arranged against the wall, there should be a connecting pipe at the bottom.

  3. Water-drenching condensers and evaporative condensers are generally arranged on the roof of the freezing room of the cold storage with good ventilation. The water spray evaporator should also try to make its pipes perpendicular to the prevailing wind direction in summer in the area, and set louvered baffles all around.

  4. The condensers installed outdoors in the cold storage should be equipped with shading facilities to prevent direct sunlight.
