Detecting and repairing methods for problems in shell and tube condensers
Since the central air conditioner is a kind of refrigeration equipment, it must be equipped with a condenser, and most of them are shell and tube condensers. When the device has been used for a long time, some inconveniences may occur. At this time, what the user has to do is to inspect and repair the shell and tube condenser, which is also to make the central air conditioner last longer.
If it is found that the refrigeration capacity of the central air conditioner has declined, you should first check whether the shell and tube condenser is intact and whether it is damaged. Because after a long time of use, the pipe interface process of the shell and tube condenser will be loose, and the pipe will also be rusted and cause defects such as blisters and cracks. In the detection process, when the water pressure in the shell and tube condenser rises to a certain level, the leaked part can be accurately located. We can use some markers that are easy to leave traces to facilitate later maintenance.
According to past experience, if the inside of the shell and tube condenser tube is leaking due to corrosion, the possibility of checking it out is relatively small. In this case, it is necessary to use some chemical substances to recommend testing, mainly to see whether the discharged water has a color change, so as to find out the cause of the leak.
After the shell and tube condenser has a clear location of damage and the cause of the damage, it will be easier to repair, and the shell and tube condenser can return to normal faster and reduce unnecessary losses.
