Matters needing attention in the installation of household central air conditioning

Problems that should be paid attention to when using central air conditioning

   1. Concealed engineering acceptance

Household central air-conditioning should be installed before the indoor decoration, and then be decorated after the installation. The indoor unit, refrigerant piping, condensing water device, air duct, wire duct, etc. are concealed in the mezzanine of the ceiling, inside the decoration, and inside the wall by decoration, so that only the air supply and return air outlets are exposed on the outside. After the decoration is finished, the air conditioning system will be debugged. Therefore, after the air-conditioning installation is completed, when the decoration project just starts construction, a concealed project acceptance should be performed.

1.1 Personnel participating in the acceptance

The owner, the person in charge of decoration construction (preferably all construction personnel), the person in charge of air conditioning installation.

  1.2 Acceptance purpose

   (1) Check again the construction quality of the air-conditioning installation carefully and let the owner accept it.

   (2) Clear responsibility. Show the owner and the decoration that the current quality of the air-conditioning project is qualified, and the airtightness and heat preservation are in line with the requirements. The decoration personnel are required to increase their sense of responsibility and not to damage the air-conditioning system during the decoration construction process.

  1.3 Acceptance content

   (1) Whether the installation and heat preservation of the indoor unit, air supply box, return air box, and air duct affect the ceiling height.

   (2) Does the wiring of the refrigerant copper pipe affect the decoration construction? Check the insulation of copper pipes and branch components.

   (3) The wiring of the condensate drain pipe. Whether the insulation and inclination meet the requirements, and whether there is a trap. Whether the wiring affects the decoration construction.

   (4) Jointly check the pressure gauge of the refrigerant piping system temporarily installed at the outlet of the outdoor unit, and record the outdoor air temperature and pressure in writing at that time. If the system is not damaged during the decoration and construction process, the pressure should remain constant.

   2. Coordination with decoration, water and electricity

  2.1 Coordination with decoration engineering

   (1) During the acceptance of the concealed project, introduce the characteristics and precautions of the air conditioning system to the decoration construction staff, and be careful not to damage it during the future decoration construction. At the same time, it is clearly pointed out to them that if the installation of air-conditioning does affect the decoration, it is difficult to construct the decoration. Do not make your own claim and move the air-conditioning device at will to damage the air-conditioning system. Instead, find the person in charge of air-conditioning installation and negotiate a settlement.

   (2) Advise the decoration workers: When decorating the place where the refrigerant copper pipe and the condensate drain pipe pass, be sure not to damage the insulation, let alone damage the pipe itself, and be careful not to hit the nail. Especially for the refrigerant copper pipes and condensate drain pipes buried in the wall, the location and direction of the pipe must be marked in the form of drawings, and handed to the person in charge of decoration construction, and reminded not to drill holes or nail nails near the location.

   (3) The ceiling height of the indoor machine room should be hoisted according to the coordinated height in the design, not close to the indoor machine. If the condensate drain pipe is equipped with a trap, the ceiling must be lower than the trap.

   (4) Understand whether the ceiling of the computer room is fixed or removable. If fixed. You need to open a manhole. The size and location of the manholes are given in writing.

  (5) Provide the size, location and requirements of the air supply outlet and return air outlet in written form, and submit it to the person in charge of the decoration construction.

2.2 Coordination with hydropower (1) Where to drain the condensate water, what kind of water pipe to connect to, and how to connect, you need to coordinate with the plumber.

   (2) The distribution box of the home power supply is generally arranged by the decoration electrician. The decoration electrician sends the main power supply to the upper terminal of the power supply of the outdoor unit. Therefore, the person in charge of the air-conditioning installation should propose the total power and wiring requirements of the indoor and outdoor units to the decoration electrician in writing (three-phase five-wire system or single-phase three-wire system; separate pipes, not mixed with other power lines; Wire color requirements.) Accessories requirements (leakage protector, fuse, manual switch). If the indoor and outdoor units are powered separately, the requirements should be made separately.

   3. Supervision during the decoration construction period

During the decoration construction period, the person in charge of the air-conditioning installation should check on the spot frequently. Find the problem, find out the cause in time, and correct it in time. The inspection contents are as follows:

   (1) Check whether the pressure gauge has changed.

   (2) Check whether the ceiling height meets the requirements.

   (3) Check whether the decoration of the refrigerant copper pipe and the condensate drain pipe is damaged.

   (4) Check whether there are holes or nails in the buried pipe in the wall.

   (5) Check whether there is any problem with the size and position of the air outlet, or the size and position of the air outlet and the inspection hole.

  4. Refrigerant leakage problem

R22 used in air conditioning systems is a non-toxic, non-flammable and safe refrigerant. But too high a concentration in the air can also suffocate people, so we must be vigilant. This problem must be paid attention to when installing ducted and VRV household central air-conditioning systems.
