Cooling method of water-cooled chiller
Air-cooled chillers and water-cooled chillers are used for outdoor installation and operation. The air-cooled machine is directly circulated by air mechanically, and the machine's condensing coil directly expels the heat and cools it by atmospheric air. The coolers are similar, but they are implementing the water mist of the condenser coil to help cool the condenser, making the cooler more efficient than traditional air. There are two cooling methods for water-cooled chillers: one is indirect cooling and the other is direct cooling.
The cooling principle of the water-cooled chiller connected to the cooling: the water in the bottom basin of the cooling tower is delivered to the condenser of the chiller through a water pump, and the condenser is cooled. When it flows back into the cooling tower and sprays down, the water is cooled by the fan on the top of the cooling tower, and then flows back to the bottom basin of the cooling tower, and it runs again and again. The condenser radiates heat while the refrigerant inside is liquefied, and then flows into the evaporator in the water tank to evaporate. When evaporating, it absorbs heat, thus cooling the water in the water tank. The cooled water is delivered to the heat exchanger (middle Separate, water on one side, sulfuric acid on the other side), and then cool the sulfuric acid through a process of heat transfer, which is a cyclic process. The advantage of this product is that it is easy to install, the service life is relatively longer than that of direct freezing, and the acid and alkali are not easy to corrode the chiller.
The principle of direct cooling and refrigeration of water-cooled chillers: the water in the bottom basin of the cooling tower is delivered to the condenser of the chiller through a water pump to cool the condenser, and then flows back into the cooling tower and sprays down through the fan on the top of the cooling tower. After the water cools down, it flows back to the bottom basin of the cooling tower, and it runs again and again. The condenser heats up while the refrigerant inside is liquefied, and then flows into the evaporator to evaporate. When evaporating, it absorbs heat, thereby cooling the sulfuric acid (tank) in the evaporator. The cooled sulfuric acid is transported to the electroplating (oxidation) by the water pump. ) Slot, just such a cyclic process.
Comparison of the comprehensive cost of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers: The comprehensive cost of chillers includes one-time investment costs and operation and maintenance costs. In terms of one-time investment costs, air-cooled machines are more expensive than water-cooled machines, but water-cooled The machine cost plus the cost of cooling towers, cooling water pumps, pipes and water treatment, the one-time investment cost of water chillers is not much less than that of air chillers, and the maintenance of cooling towers, water pipes and pumps in the cooling water system Fees, water treatment fees, and condenser cleaning fees are all higher than air-cooled units. The longer the annual operating time of the water chiller is, the more beneficial it is to the air-cooled refrigeration unit. Compared with the water-cooled unit, the air-cooled unit has a shorter payback period. Therefore, air-cooled chillers are more suitable for air-cooled chillers used in air-conditioning in the south. From the perspective of cooling conditions, the outdoor wet bulb temperature is higher in summer in the south, which is also detrimental to water-cooled refrigeration units.
